For a four day show, compensation starts at $600 with the opportunity to quickly advance to $1,200 upon completion of the show, the ability to have paid travel to additional fashion markets across the country, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow your skills and advance your career.

Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Represent a clothing line at the apparel mart, showcasing their latest collections and designs to potential customers

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively engaging with buyers and retailers, negotiating sales deals, and closing orders on-site

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new sales opportunities and potential customers

  • Attend a training session to become informed of product offerings and sales techniques

  • Provide feedback to management on sales performance, customer feedback, and opportunities for growth

  • Travel to tradeshows and events as needed based on availability

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the fashion industry or in a wholesale environment preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
